The safety of our patients and our employees is always a top priority. Due to recent events surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are updating you on our proactive measures and processes in accordance with guidelines published by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

Please take the necessary precautions regarding your personal health and the healthcare of others you may be in contact with. 

Know Your Symptoms: 

• If you or a household member have symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and/or diarrhea, please inform our office so that we may provide you with further instructions.

Pending COVID-19 Test Or Exposure/Close Contact With An Individual Who Has Tested Positive For COVID-19: 

• If you have a pending COVID-19 tears or have been exposed to or had close contact with an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 and you have an in-office appointment, please let our staff know so we may assist you in rescheduling your appointment to a later date, a telemedicine appointment, or a drive-up/in-vehicle appointment.

Travel Update: 

• If you have traveled outside of Del Rio within the past 14 days and have an in-office appointment, please notify our friendly staff so we may help you reschedule your appointment to a later date, a telemedicine appointment, or a drive-up/in-vehicle appointment.

Your health and safety is our utmost priority!

We are pleased to announce that the providers offer telemedicine services to our patients using OhMD’s HIPPA compliant texting and telehealth platform.

Cadena Family Practice also remains open to see you in person. We continue to take every safety precaution at our clinic to ensure your safety, but having a “virtual” visit by telephone or video conference will allow you access to your provider from the security of your home or workplace.

Please contact our office, and our staff will schedule an appropriate visit and provide you with the detailed instructions to conduct your telemedicine appointment.
